We have great news on the upcoming Phase 2 deadline and prizes for the best video submission. The success of the NXP LPC1100 Design Challenge has resulted in more than 450 unique designs and hosts more than 1500 Community Members. However, due to this overwhelming response, including the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, we experienced delays in distributing the LPCXpresso developoment kits. Several contestants have also indicated in the forums for the need of an extension to complete their designs by the deadline.
As you know, the success of the NXP LPC1100 Design Challenge has resulted in more than 450 unique designs and hosts more than 1500 Community Members. Unfortunately, we have experienced a few of our own challenges reviewing so many designs, that has resulted in delays distributing some the developoment kits. So as Phase II gets underway, we've decided to extend this Phase from May 3 to May 17 to give Contestants more time to receive their kit, enhance their designs and submit their videos.
